Recently I’m becoming all to aware of the cloak of spirituality.
People go ahead, find yoga, find “themselves” become yoga teachers and wrap there life in sage crystals chakras and salt lamps.
There is nothing wrong in this as long as they find peace. But how much good comes from teaching from this space to people who have no understanding of their own life let alone the spiritual jargon that’s being thrown at them.
They find themselves but loose touch with the reality that the rest of the world is still battling in.
DISCLOSURE: I too still believe in many of the ancient traditions and teachings but I also believe in YOGA FOR EVERYONE and it’s time to bring life lessons to more people through words they can understand.
Theme of the week
As part of my vow to #RepresentReality I give a weekly theme to my yoga classes. Ones that I truly believe in, ones that bring the principles of yoga into the 21st century western world without loosing people on the way.
My aim is to be relatable, to give to people what yoga gave to me and my hope is that sharing them with you guys on here you too can spread the message or implement them in your lives for the week,
If you are teaching and using these themes all I ask is see how they apply to you. I believe the best teachers speak from experience. so if you find a theme here you realte to for whatever reason use it and make it your own. (remember the golden rule of Asteya)
If any of you do use these in classes your feedback is valueable. Give me a comment or tag me on insta @sar_white #YogaWithSarahWhite
If you want these pinned weekly to your in box, Hit the follow me button hovering around this page and subscribe 🙂
